WorthStop / Mobility · Decision systems

A better stop starts with the whole trip.

A route-aware product that helps drivers compare fuel and EV stops by price, detour and the needs of their vehicle.

01 / The challenge

What needed to work better.

The lowest price on a sign does not tell a driver whether the stop is worth the extra journey. Fuel purchase, detour, vehicle efficiency and price freshness all affect the decision. EV drivers have another constraint: finding a compatible charger along the route.

02 / Our approach

How we connected the pieces.

We built a decision engine around the trip. WorthStop combines station data, route calculations and vehicle preferences, then presents a recommendation with useful alternatives. The interface shows the assumptions behind an estimate so the driver can understand the trade-off before opening navigation.

03 / The result

What exists today.

WorthStop is available in open beta across California. Drivers can plan fuel and EV stops, compare alternatives and continue to navigation. Accounts support saved routes and favorites. Fuel estimates separate purchase cost from detour cost; EV recommendations compare compatibility and charging power without implying live port availability.

Inside the work

The details that make it useful.

01

One trip, several useful choices

Route-aware recommendations with alternatives for cost, detour and the kind of stop the driver wants.

02

An understandable estimate

Visible assumptions, price age and eligibility help drivers assess a recommendation instead of trusting a single unexplained number.

03

From calculation to navigation

A responsive planner connects vehicle preferences, map inspection, favorites and the next step on the road.
